This is a two day course for certified physiotherapists/health care professionals covering the basic principles of Pilates plus a repertoire of remedial Mat exercises. Successful participants will gain a PPRC certificate allowing them to teach Mat based Pilates as Physiotherapists.
This is a highly practical course where you will learn an extensive number of Pilates exercises that are adapted for a clinical setting, including use of small props. You will become familiar with each exercise through demonstration, observation and practice. You will then work in small groups to design and teach an exercise programme for a chosen population. You will go away with an increased knowledge of remedial Pilates and a tool box of exercises that you will be able to use straight away with individual clients or in a group setting. Comprehensive booklets and course attendance certificates will be provided. Please bring your own lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Who is this course suitable for: Physiotherapists from all specialities, similar health care professionals, no previous Pilates qualification necessary.
